THE TURF COMPANY MARKS 35TH YEAR, HOLDS TOURNAMENT FOR CLIENTS

The Turf Company has reached a significant milestone as it celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. From its humble beginnings supplying products and services to golf courses in the country, it has grown into a company that offers the most reliable end-to-end-solutions for management and maintenance of golf courses, sports-themed estates, resorts and recreation facilities, hospitals, commercial landscapes like retail developments, and private and residential projects.

Today, it is considered a leading force in the industry with prestigious clients who have remained loyal to the company through the years.

Tournament and anniversary events As part of its anniversary celebration, Turf will hold a special promotion for the whole month of May with discounts on golf carts, maintenance equipment, parts and other products and services. There is also the much-awaited Turf Company 35th Anniversary Golf Invitational on May 31 at the Pradera Golf Club. This is an event to celebrate this milestone as well as a thanksgiving to their customers for their trust and support. Aside from the anniversary giveaways, each participant will have chances to win raffle prizes such as vouchers, gadgets and golf equipment. They will also have two golf carts as hole in one prizes. The company is likewise pursuing its CSR activity to give back to the community. Last year, they raised over P40,000 for Virlanie Foundation Inc. which made a number of underprivileged children very happy. This year, they are hoping to raise more for Habitat for Humanities Foundation Inc.

Milestones Reflecting on their history, Jose says “Having the best brands like Toro and Club Car put The Turf Company on the map. We continued to find other equipment and allied products to complement these two brands making us the only company that offers a complete line up of golf maintenance products. Of course, having these products is just part of our success. We would not be where we are today if we didn’t have a team of well-trained employees who love their jobs and care very muchabout our customers.” Indeed, the company continues to strengthen partnerships with world-class brands which it distributes in the country.
“The biggest part of our staying power is because of our customers. Although there are other brands to choose from, they have been very loyal to our company.” Their latest project is the Hann Reserve golf resort in New Clark City, a 450-hectare project accredited by The PGA of America. Originally, this will have 3 golf courses (Nicklaus, Choi and Faldo), hotels and residential area. A fourth course is being discussed as of this writing. “We are also working with clubs that are currently doing renovations and other companies who are in the planning stages of building new golf courses, ”Jose explains. The Turf Company partnered with Ventrac last year. The Ventrac tractor is a versatile piece of machine since there are over 40 attachments that can do different types of jobs. This product has been very well received by golf clubs, farms and other industries. “We have helped our clients achieve maximum productivity to help their businesses succeed.”

The grass is greener in the years to come The grass is always greener at the Turf Company and the years to come will be a testament to this. “We have several initiatives. First, we are committed to introducing new products that address the evolving needs of our customers, with emphasis on sustainability and enhanced performance. We are actively pursuing strategic partnerships to expand our market reach. Ensuring exceptional service remains one of our top priorities, which is why we’re placing a strong emphasis on our team’s continuous training and development. Our main objective is to elevate the customer experience while upholding our position as the leader in golf supply,” Jose shares. Additionally, while continuing to focus on golf, they are looking into branching out to other industries to grow their business. “In 10 years, I see our company leading not only in golf but also in other growth areas where our innovative products areessential. We will be known for products with advanced technologies and solutions, making a positive impact on customers and communities,” Jose shares.
